You can't tell from this picture but we were in the middle of torrential rain. Our front yard and sidewalk were completely under water. Fortunately, we live on a hill. Our neighbors were not so lucky and church was cancelled Sunday so the members could help bail out basements and such, as so many members homes were flooded. 7.5 inches in 8 hours! The Platte River was flooding the freeway and anyone that was unlucky enough to live near its banks. Crazy
