The boys and I were able to go to Rod's squadron and get a tour of both the squadron and the plane on which he works. This was an unprecedented event because both are considered classified and the commander had to go to the top brass to get permission for the families to do this. I have described more about the open house after these pictures but wanted to include the few pics we could take. We weren't allowed to take any pictures in the plane or in the squadron, so I was quite limited in that department - sorry. I was so glad the plane was in a hangar as it was 31 degrees outside with 30 mph winds! It was so fun and the boys were VERY excited to be able to see the plane their dad works on. They even got to sit in the pilot and co-pilot seats for about 5 minutes!
