Around the world in 90 minutes

We have this really great Primary President in our ward, she comes up with the greatest ideas (think Primary Boot Camp). For those of you who are unfamiliar with our church Jargon - "Primary" is the children's Sunday School. The children received mission calls, passports, and an individualized Airline Itinerary-they even had boarding passes to and from their countries. It was so fun and all the kids had an absolute blast. Here are some highlights...This is A.J. just after he got his call to Mexico, he got his name badge and his passport...
Xander with his Name Badge for his mission to Norway

Norway...what do you think Kristi?

Name Badge for Mexico

The primary presidency were the crew on the flight. The Pilot is our President. Here they were explaining the flight safety procedures. After the initial safety procedure the kids got a drink and a snack.

AJ was so excited to get a window seat...seriously, he kept telling me to look out the window!

Xander waiting patiently on the plane to take off for Norway;)

This was our flight attendant collecting boarding passes. The kids were not allowed to board until they gave her the proper paperwork.

Xander "lands" in Norway and learns about the people, customs and food. Each country provided Native food for the kids to taste...so much fun!

AJ hanging out in Mexico. He REALLY liked the Apple Soda and found out we could buy it at Wal-mart..."just so you know mom"

Xander learns about all things Japanese. He wasn't to thrilled with the food in this country...AJ however LOVED the candy.
Learning about Chile. The primary activities in our ward are so fun that AJ even stays entertained, which is a hard thing to accomplish!
Our "flight" home. Do we look worn out?
Each child got a passport, a mission call, an itinerary, boarding passes and name badge.

Awesome! I had a roommate serve her mission in Norway so I knew that "Christ" was spelled "Kristi" in Norwegian. It literally means "of Christ". I thought that was really cool to have a name that meant that!

Are the kids checking out Chili the food or Chile the country. I was confused.

Love ya!
