With less than a week's notice, the boys and I were off to Utah for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We spent Thanksgiving with my wonderful in-laws and then headed north to spend time with my family. The boys were ecstatic to be back in Utah and none to happy to return home! I didn't pull the camera out a lot but I did want to post a few pics. My mom-in-law helped the boys make salt dough ornaments for the tree. Xander viewed this as VERY serious business and refused to smile for the camera. The ornaments were wonderful and look great on our tree!
Grandma and Xander concentrating on the serious business of hand painting ornaments.
I already posted this one on Facebook, but it was kind of fun so I'm re-posting here. This is an exact re-enactment of a photo we took 12 or so years ago. My sisters swear that explains their cheesy smiles...I know the truth, they're just cheesy in general;) Someday, I'll get a copy of the original to put next to this!

I love the picture of "the girls"! Your family is just too cute. Sounds like a fun Thanksgiving. We were in Utah and Idaho for turkey also.
Yay! So glad you could go. So, what is it now...T minus 12 days? Bet you're so excited!
