This picture was taken the first night in our new house in Monterey. The boys and I hadn't seen Rod in 3 months (he had been away at basic training) and he wasn't allowed to stay with us. He was required to go back to the base that night to sleep. The boys were so excited to see their dad and he made the most of the time he had with us. He had to stay in the dorms on base for a month before he was allowed to live with us. It was horrible having to take him back every night. It was especially hard on AJ.

That would have been horrible having him so close but having to leave. What a sweet photo to have.
Oh! I LOVE this one! What an adorable picture! What darling boys. AJ hasn't changed at all and Xander is a cutie!
