A visit with Grandma and Grandpa to the Pumpkin Patch

Rod's parents made their annual October pilgrimage to Nebraska and fortunately, it fell on the weekend where we got our special military rate to get into Vala's pumpkin patch.  It was FREEZING but we managed to get a few good hours in before calling it a day.  The boys had a blast and even managed to go into both haunted houses.  Xander, of course, only wanted to see the cemeteries...no surprise there!

Of course, we had to get the picture to see how much they had grown.  Unfortunately, I couldn't find the pics from last year to show the difference.  Ah well!

And here they are, the cemetery pictures.  Rod's favorite was the, "Men only" cemetery.  Xander, of course wanted pictures of ALL the headstones.

Then there was the witch.  This woman is brave.  It was soooo cold and yet there she was in her same spot every year, waiting to cook the unsuspecting children who wandered into her path.

The standard cut out pictures...don't quite know where AJ's face went on this one!

And the absolute icing on the cake?  There were STORM TROOPERS wandering around!  Maybe you didn't read that right?  I said STORM TROOPERS!!! Xander was speechless.  First he only wanted me to take a picture of them.  Then when he realized the magnitude of what he was seeing, he let me take a picture of him WITH them.

This place looks awesome! I especially like the storm troopers. I like the expendable guy from the rebel alliance though. (Yes I know my Star Wars movies)
