My recent conversation with AJ

Having a conversation with AJ is quite the experience. You must always be on your toes if you want to know what it is you are talking about. I like to refer to this experience as a Train of Thought Derailment. I thought I'd share one of these with you so you might more clearly understand what I mean...

AJ walks into the kitchen singing, “The potential break-up song” from Alley and AJ at the top of his lungs.

A.J. - Good morning mom!

Julie - Good morning! It’s grandpa’s birthday, we need to call him!

A.J.- Yeah I know...Hey mom I hate my icky medicine, when do you think Xander is going to be up?

Julie - I'm sorry! Please don’t wake him up, he needs his sleep.

A.J.- Yeah ‘cause if he doesn’t get his sleep he’s a monster huh mom? Dad didn’t know I needed to entertain the masses.

Julie - WHAT?!?

A.J.- When he cut the lawn he didn’t leave it high so I could entertain the masses. I’m planning on being rich someday.

Julie - I guess it slipped his mind.

A.J. - When I play Crash Tag Team racing I won’t have to think about all the things I want for my birthday. I only have 2 days of my medicine left.

Julie - Yep you only have two days left.

A.J. - I think its hysterical when dad laughs – he’s funny huh mom?

Julie - He sure is, he’s a fun dad. What do you want for breakfast?

A.J.- Is it okay if I watch some music videos on Youtube? I want a jam sandwich.

Julie - Yes, give me a minute and I’ll set it up for you.

A.J.- Okay, you’re the best mom in the whole world but I still don’t want to move to an island with hurricanes.

A.J. then walks over and turns on the T.V. and completely forgets about Youtube.
