As most of you know, my boys have some pretty amazing quotes. They are always making us laugh with their perspective on life. The last week has given me some real classics. I thought I'd share them here:
I was sitting at the Doctor with AJ today. I looked at him and told him that we should have combed his hair better this morning. He glanced sideways at me and whispered (with quite a bit of force), "Mom, this is not the time or place to discuss my fashion"....Well, guess I'll know better next time.
The other day I took the boys to school and had to talk to one of the teachers. As I passed Xander's classroom, I saw him in the hall and said, "I love you!" He got very flustered and yelled, "Moooommmm! I can't believe you said that in front of my friends!!!" I later apologized and he said, "It's okay mom, Cole said his mom says that ALL THE TIME and he's cool with it, just don't do it again - it was very embarrassing." I'm so glad to know that Cole is cool with it.
Tonight Xander was walking around the house with the Air Freshener, I told him to put it away. When he went to put it in the bathroom, he gave it one more squeeze and sprayed himself right in the eye. I quickly rinsed it out and made everything all better. Half hour later he's got the bottle again and he's reading it. He begins yelling at me and telling me I could've blinded him. When I ask him what in the world he is talking about he says, "Mom, this air freshener says keep away from children! I'M CHILDREN!!!"........My bad.
