One of our yearly traditions has come an gone again. Xander and Rod LOVE the Air Show, AJ and I - not so much. We went together for a little bit in the morning and then AJ and I left Rod to explore. The boys did like getting to explore the training jet and get a good look at the cockpit. We did get 2 great quotes from the boys out of it.
AJ - "Mom, when I grow up, I'm going to be a Blue Angels pilot"
Julie - "You realize that Blue Angel's do a LOT of loop-d-loops"?
AJ - after much thought..."Mom, when I grow up, I'm going to WATCH the Blue Angels a LOT"!
Xander loved watching the paratroopers jump out of the plane. When I asked him if that is what he wanted to do when he grew up, he looked at me, very annoyed and said, "How the heck am I supposed to know? I'm only Six!"
