The Great Jensen Reunion

We finally got everyone on my Mom's side of the family together for a much needed reunion. It was so fun to see everyone and especially to see all the younger cousins get along so well. With my Dad's shaved ice machine, boat and a lot of food, the reunion was a ginormous success. It was especially fun to see all the different license plates from Montana, California, Colorado, Nebraska and Utah. Steve and Vicki couldn't make it because of Vicki's pregnancy but we know they were there in spirit!
My Grandma Genece - the Matriarch of this ragged bunch
The cousins playing with all my teacher toys...they are much more entertaining out of the classroom.

Out on Grandpa's boat...

Kristi's daughter Charley
My cousin brought some glow sticks, they were the biggest hit with the kids.
Xander day dreaming in front of the fire...I love this pic.
My Cousin Mike and his kids
AJ throwing some wood on the fire

My sister Katie showing AJ some Aunty affection
My Aunt Cathy, Mom, Aunt Pam and Grandma - seriously awesome ladies every one!
My cousin Ben 'taught' AJ and Xander that rubbing sticks together would start a fire. He neglected to tell them the details so Xander and AJ spent a long time trying to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together. They were very frustrated when it didn't work.

Down by the river. Throwing Rocks was a favorite pastime.

While we were up at the campsite, we celebrated my Grandma's birthday, it was so wonderful for her to be surrounded by her family and we had a blast celebrating with her!

My Dad decided to start a spoon slingshot war with bottle caps. He and my cousin's son against my cousins David and Kristen...Dave and Kristen kicked some butt...eventually my dad's partner in crime abandoned hope and my dad...

Glad that you had fun. I am just really glad that you could use all of those manipulatives that I have been wanting to use for years.
