After going to downtown Omaha for an afternoon, we decided to scout out some future campsites. We had read about a fun one about 2 miles from our house with walking trails right next to the Missouri River. The boys had so much fun looking for frogs, watching the boats on the river and playing at the playground. Rod spent a considerable amount of time teaching Xander how to skip rocks on the river. AJ spent a considerable amount of time investigating bugs. Such a fun afternoon!
