The Slide

Rod and I have started looking at some of the fun things to do around the Metro area. We decided after 3 years of being here, we might as well check out all the stuff we had heard about. Rod was told about this great common area in downtown Omaha with a wonderful slide for the kids. We headed out for the afternoon and the boys loved the slide! They also discovered that sitting on a piece of cardboard made you go twice as fast! We then went and explored the fountains and watched the geese and swans for a bit. Below is AJ's horrifying injury that he acquired after disobeying Rod several times by walking on a patch of uneven rock. He wanted a picture for future posterity...
This waterfall filled up the bucket and tipped it over every 20 minutes or so. Rod was trying to give Xander a better look to see if we were getting close to the tip over.

Taking a rest by the man made waterfall...

I want that slice. Seriously. It looks like so much fun. And yes, I am so glad that you documented that picture of the bloody knee for posterity. Some day these kids' kids will never believe that we had accidents and used band aids.
